January Meeting - Did God Create in 6 Literal Days?

Come and see the Answers In Genesis DVD presented by Ken Ham, “Did God Create In 6 Literal Days?” giving reasons why rejecting the days of creation as ordinary days undermines the authority of Scripture. We will meet in Room 509 of Arcade Church, 3927 Marconi Avenue on Tuesday, January 19 at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments & Fellowship will follow the meeting.

In this challenging video, Ken deals with the following fascinating topics:

  • The Hebrew word for “day” can have a number of different meanings—but in Genesis 1, it can only mean an ordinary day!
  • The major reason many Christian leaders reject the days of creation as 24 hour days is because of extra-biblical information—not because of the clear teaching of Scripture.
If the days of creation in Genesis 1 are long ages, then there was death, disease and thorns before sin.
  • Rejecting the days of creation as ordinary days undermines the authority of Scripture!

The Arcade Creation Club presents:

“The Star of Bethlehem”

DVD from the Producer of “The Passion of the Christ”, Stephen McEveety.

Come and see whether this “Star” was a real astronomical event and miracle, a legend or a myth created by the early church. We will be meeting on Tuesday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 509. You are also invited to bring a snack or dessert to share. Don’t worry if you are not able to or forget to bring something. There will be plenty to share with members and guests. Just come and celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus with us.

2007 Arcade Creation Club Fossil Hunt

2007 Lost World Expeditions

The Arcade Creation Club led a 2007 fossil hunt in September and we had a great time! We had many finds, fellowship, and lots of fun! Most importantly, though, we were able to give God all the glory through this experience. We are continuing to work on this research project and the study is revealing the truths God presented in the Bible in the Book of Genesis. Our theme was "In Search of Noah's Flood; God's Judgement and Mercy."

Here is Micah standing in front of what appears to be a collapsed cave.

Gary appears to be precariously perched close to a collapsed cave and a rocky outcropping where fossils are usually found.

Patrice is standing in front of one of the sites where some of the team members are looking for fossils and recording information in their journals.
